Dr Burke is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Burke has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment for over 20 years. He developed a form of psychotherapy that helps individuals express the depths of their emotional experiences and facilitates significant and sustained personal growth and improvement. Dr. Burke now uses neurofeedback to help individuals experience similar levels of emotional, neurological, and behavioral healing at a more expedient pace. Dr. Burke has provided treatment and evaluations for individuals and their families in outpatient, in-home, school-based, residential, and hospital settings and served as an expert consultant in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with emotional, neurological, behavioral, and academic differences for numerous companies, corporations, and branches of the United States military. Dr. Burke trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Substance Abuse Treatment, Neurofeedback, Cognitive and Projective Assessment, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Critical Incident and Stress Management, and received Certification in Clinical Hypnosis, Emotion Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and as an Employee Assistance Professional. For over 20 years, Dr. Burke has helped individuals with chronic and debilitating conditions develop the ability to experience their lives with less symptoms and more happiness and contentment.
